Reducing Our Carbon Footprint
At DUCAST, a proud initiative under the Taurani Holding Group, sustainability is not merely a commitment, it is a core responsibility embedded in the way we operate and grow.
As part of our Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) strategy, we have launched a structured Carbon Footprint Assessment Program aimed at identifying, measuring and reducing emissions across all operational activities. This initiative enables us to continuously improve environmental performance while contributing to global climate responsibility.
In parallel, we have initiated a Tree Plantation Program across and around our factory premises, reinforcing our commitment to restoring ecological balance and fostering a healthier and greener environment for future generations.
DUCAST is actively driving measurable environmental progress through the following key initiatives:
- Conduct periodic carbon footprint assessments to identify emission reduction opportunities and track progress.
- Plant a minimum of two trees every month across our operational locations.
- Continuously expand green cover within and around our facilities year-on-year.
- Support long-term carbon sequestration through sustained plantation and maintenance programs.
- Promote environmental awareness and encourage active employee participation in sustainability initiatives.
